The challenge

A new shop with 22 years of experience behind it.

North Peak Labels is a brand-new digital label printer in Corona, running an HP Indigo 6K+ press and an ABG Digicon Series 2 finishing line. The company is new; the people running it aren't. They needed a site that said both things at once, and they needed it before the first customer called.

The brief was simple and the deadline was short: look like an established converter, explain why digital beats plate printing for short runs and multi-SKU product lines, and get quote requests into the shop's inbox. Online quoting and order tracking could wait for phase two.

The approach

Show the press, sell the turnaround.

We built one long, fast page around what buyers actually ask: what can you print, on what, and how fast. A looping press video up top, an equipment section featuring the 6K+, a color-coded catalog of 24 product label types, a materials and finishes section (glossy to holographic, plus foil, varnish and lamination), and a bold three-day rush callout that leads to the quote form.

No framework, no CMS, nothing to patch. Plain HTML and CSS, a quote form that emails the shop directly, privacy-friendly analytics, and a designed social share card so the link looks right when it's texted or posted to Facebook. We iterated with the owner section by section and shipped changes the same day he asked for them.

The result

Live in three weeks, taking quote requests.

northpeaklabels.com went from a Carrd 'Coming Soon' page to a full site in about three weeks, on the shop's own domain, with their Google Workspace email untouched through the switch. Quote requests land straight in the shop's shared inbox, with reply-to set to the customer.

Phase two is already on the table: a customer portal for quotes, artwork, proofs and order tracking, built on the same foundation.
